Mr. Baker began working with WP Global Partners in 2019. He is actively involved in sales for WP Global’s healthcare investments as well as the Firm’s business development efforts.

Throughout his 25-year career, Mr. Baker has been involved with innovative technologies that significantly change current norms, providing greater efficiency, patient care, and significant cost savings to healthcare organizations.  Conceptual in nature, such discontinuous technologies generally require an extensive knowledge of the industry and the value proposition posed.

Prior to joining WP Global, Mr. Baker was the Chief Commercial Officer of HemoSonics, a startup bleeding management technology company that improves outcomes and reduces healthcare costs by enabling more targeted transfusion of blood products. Mr. Baker also served as Chief Commercial Officer for SWIPESENSE, Inc., a Chicago based medical device data management startup company involved in Point of Care improvement solutions for Hospital Acquired Infections.  Mr. Baker also held roles as Vice President of Sales and Business Development with EPOCAL, Inc., a privately held company based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, as Vice President of Sales for a small startup company, Wellness Environments, based in Nashville, Tennessee, and as Vice President of Sales for the Eastern United States for i-STAT Corporation, a publicly-held company engaged in the development and commercialization of proprietary biosensor technology designed to improve processes and lower the cost of patient care. Mr. Baker is also a Founding Member of Phoenix Bass Boats in Winchester Tennessee.

Mr. Baker earned a degree in Business Administration from The University of Memphis.
