Mr. Wrolson serves as Director of IT and Cybersecurity at WP Global, where he leads technology strategy and the reliability, security, and scalability of the firm’s infrastructure. After advising WP Global as an external consultant beginning in 2012, he joined the firm full-time in 2020.  His remit spans enterprise networking, cloud and identity (including Microsoft 365 and hybrid AD), endpoint management, vendor and contract oversight, business continuity/disaster recovery, and security operations in coordination with third-party MDR providers.  He partners closely with Investment and Compliance on M&A due diligence, data protection, and control design aligned to evolving regulatory expectations, and he provides hands-on guidance to portfolio companies as they modernize their IT environments.

Mr. Wrolson launched his IT career in 1997.  Earlier roles include work with Apple and a 2003 recruitment to Best Buy—through a Best Buy/Apple partnership—to help plan and deploy one of the first Geek Squad organizations in the Chicago market. Across roles, he is recognized for rigorous standards, transparent communication, and a “build once, done right” approach that prioritizes security without sacrificing usability.
