On July 15, 2021, G-CON Manufacturing was sold to a financial buyer, Summa Equity. G-CON designs, builds, and installs prefabricated G-CON POD cleanrooms. G-CON’s POD portfolio provides cleanrooms in a number of dimensions for a variety of uses, from laboratory environments to personalized medicine and production process platforms. G-CON’s cleanrooms are differentiated based on the scalability, mobility, and the possibility of repurposing the PODS once the production process reaches its lifecycle end. The company has sold more than 300 cleanrooms since its inception in 2009.
WP Global has been active on the Board of G-CON since 2018. Since then, G-CON has increased production capacity through multiple phases of facility expansions. G-CON has seen strong global demand for off-site built solutions. The COVID-19 pandemic has also underlined the need for uninterrupted off-site construction of cleanroom infrastructures.
