On June 10, 2021, WP Global Partners exited its investment in Lakeview Farms. Lakeview Farms is a leading manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of both branded and private label refrigerated desserts, dips, hummus, salsas, and Hispanic-focused rice puddings. WP Global invested in Lakeview Farms in December 2014 alongside Sequel Holdings.
Operating in food industry segments where both private labeling and demographically targeted branding are key drivers, Lakeview Farms exhibited the following investment attributes: a.) revenue diversified by both customer and SKU; b.) consistent and repeatable product demand; c.) organic growth via both brand extensions and cross selling into existing distribution channels; d.) operational improvements; and e.) accretive add-ons. During WP Global’s ownership, the management team launched numerous brand extensions while successfully expanding several prominent private label programs. In addition, the Company selectively made accretive acquisitions involving such notable brands as Tribe Hummus and Rojo’s Salsa.
